2022 PD Day was a great success thanks to the wonderful organizing by Greater Fredericton Home Educators.

We hope you can join us in Oromocto on Nov 4 for our annual PD Day. It’s been two years since our last one, and we miss you.
Our theme this year is H.O.M.E. So come join us for a time of fellowship, enjoying what God has given us. As you will note in the schedule, there is a lot of free time. This is because it has been so long since we have been together and we wanted to be sure there was time to reconnect and enjoy one another’s company

Location: Oromocto Baptist Church, 10 Doyle Dr, Oromocto, NB
Time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Cost: $35 non-HENB members, $25 for HENB members, Lunch and snacks are included in the registration fee.

- E. role of Education in the home
Lunch Menu:
Appetizer – Fall Salad of greens with apple, pear, pecans, dried cranberries and a maple mustard dressing
Entree – Choice of soup with rolls
a. Hearty chicken and rice OR
b. Cream of vegetable (tomato, sweet potato, carrots and coconut milk)
Dessert: A dessert table of all things sweet!
*There will be gluten free options available*
Book Swap:
Anyone is welcome to take books from this table. This is a great chance to bless others with your gently used curriculum and hopefully take something great home for your shelves.
A nursery is available for nursing moms.

- 10:00 – 10:30 Holly Myers will be speaking on the Heart of God for the home
- 10:30 – 11:00 Free book table and door prizes
- 11:00 – 11:30 Jessica Byers will be speaking on Organization in the home
- 11:30 – 12:00 Free book table, door prizes and a time to enjoy each other’s company
- 12:00 – 1:00 Lunch
- 1:00 – 1:30 The Mother’s role in the home (Speaker TBA)
- 1:30 – 1:45 Break
- 1:45 – 2:15 The role of Education in the home (Speaker TBA)
- 2:15 – 3:00 Wrap up and snack
