About this event

We are offering two free informational sessions on how to get started homeschooling for anyone interested. These sessions will be offered just before our regular homeschool conference begins.

Session 1 - What is Home Education? (Anita Peppard)
Session 2 - How to Begin, From Wherever You Are (Anita Peppard)

Designed for newbies, these sessions also contain the answers to such questions as: What do I do with the baby and toddlers? How do I teach different aged children at once? What if they are an only child? What if they have already been in public school? How do I even choose what to teach? And for heaven's sake, what about the house?

Anita Peppard is a homeschool mom of 5, ranging in age from 16 to 27 years old. She has graduated four and is now in the home stretch with only one child and one year to go. Although she has been doing this for many years, she is amazed by the blessings, even on the hard days, and is thankful that God has allowed her to homeschool all these years.

This event is designed as an adult-focused experience. Please arrange childcare, as we are unable to accommodate children during the event. Nursing infants are welcome.

If you wish to attend other events during the conference (such as additional sessions, used curriculum sale or the vendor hall), please visit our conference page to register for those activities.
